Explanation
Used to actively propose doing something together or to confirm willingness. It can also be used when accepting an invitation positively.
Usage
Use when you want to strongly suggest an activity or agree to do something together. It sounds proactive and friendly.
Formation
Verb in ます-form → replace ます with ましょう
Examples
駅まで歩きましょう。
えきまで あるきましょう。Let’s walk to the station.
一緒に写真を撮りましょう。
いっしょに しゃしんを とりましょう。Let’s take a picture together.
この本を読みましょうか。
この ほんを よみましょうか。Shall we read this book?
