Pattern

The particle ね at the end of a sentence adds emotion or seeks agreement. It can show sympathy, share feelings, or confirm information.

Used when the speaker expects the listener to agree or to soften a statement.

Sentence + ね

今日は寒いですね。

きょうはさむいですね。

It’s cold today, isn’t it?

毎日忙しいですね。

まいにちいそがしいですね。

You’re busy every day, aren’t you?

このケーキ、美味しいですね。

このけーき、おいしいですね。

This cake is delicious, isn’t it?
