Pattern

The particle へ marks the destination of movement. It is placed after the place noun to show direction. It is pronounced え.

Used when the verb indicates going to, coming to, or returning to a location.

Place noun + へ + movement verb

東京へ行きます。

とうきょうへいきます。

I will go to Tokyo.

友だちの家へ来ます。

ともだちのいえへきます。

I will come to my friend’s house.

国へ帰ります。

くにへかえります。

I will return to my country.
