Used to say what happens if a condition is true or when something has happened.

Often for giving advice, making requests, or imagining situations.

Plain past form (V/A/N) + ら + result

雨が降ったら、試合は中止です。

あめがふったら、しあいはちゅうしです。

If it rains, the game will be canceled.

暇だったら、一緒にカフェに行きませんか。

ひまだったら、いっしょにかふぇにいきませんか。

If you're free, shall we go to a cafe together?

値段が安かったら、このコートを買います。

ねだんがやすかったら、このこーとをかいます。

If the price is low, I will buy this coat.
