Vた + ら, 〜

Pattern

Used to say what happens right after an action is completed.

Often for sequencing events or showing a natural next step.

Verb past tense + ら + next action

授業が終わったら、友だちと映画を見ます。

じゅぎょうがおわったら、ともだちとえいがをみます。

After class ends, I will watch a movie with my friend.

家に着いたら、すぐ寝ます。

いえについたら、すぐねます。

When I get home, I will go to bed right away.

雨が止んだら、散歩に行きましょう。

あめがやんだら、さんぽにいきましょう。

When the rain stops, let's go for a walk.
