何をしますか

Pattern

Used to ask what action or activity someone will do. The particle を marks the object of the verb します.

Place 何 at the start of the object position and add をしますか to ask about an action. Context or a time expression can be added before it.

[Time/Context] + 何をしますか

日曜日に何をしますか。

にちようびになにをしますか。

What will you do on Sunday?

昨日は何をしましたか。

きのうはなにをしましたか。

What did you do yesterday?

休みに何をしますか。

やすみになにをしますか。

What will you do during the holiday?
