Explanation
Used to make polite sentences with な-adjectives. な is placed before です in affirmative form. In negative form, use じゃありません.
Usage
Attach な before です in affirmative sentences. For negative sentences, replace です with じゃありません.

N + は + な-adj + です / N + は + な-adj + じゃありません
Examples
先生は 親切です。
せんせいは しんせつです。The teacher is kind.
あそこは 静かじゃありません。
あそこは しずかじゃありません。It’s not quiet there.
湖の 水は きれいです。
みずうみの みずは きれいです。The lake water is clean.
町は にぎやかじゃありません。
まちは にぎやかじゃありません。The town is not lively.
