Explanation
Used to make polite sentences with い-adjectives. い-adjectives come directly before です. In negative form, replace い with くない.
Usage
Place い-adjective directly before です. To make it negative, replace い with くない and add です.

N + は + い-adj + です / N + は + い-adj (い→くない) + です
Examples
富士山は 高いです。
ふじさんは たかいです。Mt. Fuji is high.
この 本は おもしろくないです。
この ほんは おもしろくないです。This book is not interesting.
北京は 寒いです。
ペキンは さむいです。Beijing is cold.
