Explanation
Replaces the particle を with は to make the object the topic of the sentence.
Usage
Use when you want to emphasize or highlight the object rather than the action or subject.
Formation
Take the object with particle を, replace を with は.
Examples
本は毎日読みます。
ほんは まいにち よみます。As for books, I read them every day.
コーヒーは飲みません。
コーヒーは のみません。As for coffee, I don’t drink it.
音楽はよく聞きます。
おんがくは よく ききます。As for music, I listen to it often.
寿司は食べられます。
すしは たべられます。As for sushi, I can eat it.
