Explanation
Demonstratives for places and directions. ここ: near the speaker. そこ: near the listener. あそこ: far from both. こちら, そちら, あちら are politer forms and can also mean 'this/that way' or 'this/that person/place'.
Usage
Use ここ／そこ／あそこ to point to a location based on proximity. Use こちら／そちら／あちら for more polite speech or when referring to directions.
