Pattern

だけ means 'only.' It is added after quantifiers or nouns to indicate that there is no more or nothing/no one else.

Place だけ after the quantity or noun you want to limit to 'only.'

Noun/Quantifier + だけ

クラスに日本人の学生が 2人だけいます。

クラスににほんじんのがくせいがふたりだけいます。

There are only two Japanese students in the class.

財布には 1000円だけあります。

さいふにはせんえんだけあります。

I have only 1000 yen in my wallet.

休みは金曜日だけです。

やすみはきんようびだけです。

I only have Fridays off.
