Examples

ははがでんわをしているあいだに、ゆうびんがとどいた。While my mother was on the phone, the mail arrived.
私が留守の間に、部屋にゴミがたまってしまった。
わたしがるすのあいだに、へやにごみがたまってしまった。While I was away, the room filled with trash.
