Explanation
Indicates that the second action happens almost simultaneously with or even before the first action finishes.
Usage
Emphasizes that the second action occurs before the speaker can even finish confirming the first one. Stronger than 〜（か）と思うと.
Formation
Combine the negative form and the dictionary form of the verb with かのうちに.
Examples
ベルが鳴り終わらないかのうちに、生徒たちは教室を飛び出した。
ベルがなりおわらないかのうちに、せいとたちはきょうしつをとびだした。The students rushed out of the classroom before the bell had even finished ringing.
