Indicates that something is intended or designed for a specific group of people.

Often used with demographics such as children, women, professionals, etc. Used in advertising, product targeting, or writing styles.

Attach to nouns that represent the target audience.

この雑誌は初心者向けだ。

このざっしはしょしんしゃむけだ。

This magazine is intended for beginners.

子供向けの映画がたくさん上映されている。

こどもむけのえいががたくさんじょうえいされている。

Many movies aimed at children are being shown.

この講座はビジネスマン向けに作られている。

このこうざはビジネスマンむけにつくられている。

This course is designed for businesspeople.
