Explanation
Used to express the speaker’s emotional evaluation or sense about something.
Usage
Often used to say something has a certain feeling or quality that cannot be ignored.
Formation
Attach to the present tense of verbs or adjectives. For na-adjectives, use the な-form.
Examples
彼の話し方には、人を惹きつけるものがある。
かれのはなしかたには、ひとをひきつけるものがある。There is something captivating about the way he speaks.
その映像には心を打つものがあった。
そのえいぞうにはこころをうつものがあった。That video had something deeply moving about it.
