- 名詞・普通形（ナ形 + な／である・名詞 + の／である） + もかまわず
Explanation
Expresses that someone does something without caring about or paying attention to a normally concerning matter.
Usage
Often used to describe surprising, inconsiderate, or bold behavior. Not used for the speaker's own intentional actions.
Formation
Attach to a noun or a plain-form clause. Use の or である when needed before もかまわず.
Examples
彼は服が汚れるのもかまわず、子供たちと泥遊びをしていた。
かれはふくがよごれるのもかまわず、こどもたちとどろあそびをしていた。He played in the mud with the children without caring that his clothes would get dirty.
人目もかまわず、彼らは駅で大声で言い争っていた。
ひとめもかまわず、かれらはえきでおおごえでいいあらそっていた。They argued loudly at the station, not caring who was watching.
彼女は風邪気味なのもかまわず、雨の中を出かけていった。
かのじょはかぜぎみなのもかまわず、あめのなかをでかけていった。She went out in the rain despite having a cold.
危険もかまわず、彼は燃えた建物に飛び込んだ。
