Formation

Attach to the dictionary form of a verb.

Examples

そのことで心配することはないよ。先生がちゃんと説明してくれるはずだから。

そのことでしんぱいすることはないよ。せんせいがちゃんとせつめいしてくれるはずだから。

You don't have to worry about that. The teacher will explain everything clearly.

雨が降っても、わざわざ行くことはないと思います。

あめがふっても、わざわざいくことはないとおもいます。

Even if it rains, I don’t think there’s any need to go out of your way.
