Pattern

Indicates doing something to the fullest extent or within the limits of what is known, seen, or possible.

Often used with verbs expressing ability or knowledge. When used with verbs, the ている-form or potential form is common.

Attach to dictionary form, ている-form, い-adjective, or noun + の.

知っている限りの情報をすべて伝えました。

しっているかぎりのじょうほうをすべてつたえました。

I conveyed all the information I know.

体力の限り、最後まで走り切った。

たいりょくのかぎり、さいごまではしりきった。

Using all my strength, I ran to the end.

見る限りでは、天気はよくなりそうです。

みるかぎりでは、てんきはよくなりそうです。

As far as I can see, the weather looks like it will improve.
