Explanation
Used to indicate that the degree or amount is at most around that level, and is not very high or large.
Usage
It is attached to numbers or expressions showing a small amount, limited extent, or modest level. It often conveys 'at best,' 'roughly speaking,' or 'no more than that.'
Formation
Attach といったところだ to a noun or to the dictionary form of a verb.
Examples
この地域は夏でもそれほど蒸し暑くはありません。いちばん気温が高い日でも、せいぜい二十五、六度といったところです。
このちいきはなつでもそれほどむしあつくはありません。いちばんきおんがたかいひでも、せいぜいにじゅうご、ろくどといったところです。Even in summer, this area does not get very humid or hot. Even on the hottest days, it is only about 25 or 26 degrees at most.
うちの登山クラブでは毎月ハイキングをしていますが、集まる人数は毎回多くても五、六人といったところです。
うちのとざんクラブではまいつきハイキングをしていますが、あつまるにんずうはまいかいたくてもご、ろくにんといったところです。Our hiking club goes walking in the mountains every month, but the number of participants is only about five or six people each time at most.
