Explanation
Used to suggest that since any of several possible options would be fine, one should do something.
Usage
It lists examples from the same group and presents them as possible choices. It is used for suggestions or recommendations with a nuance like 'do something, whether this or that.' The sentence that follows often expresses the speaker's suggestion, intention, or encouragement.
Formation
Attach なり to nouns, adverbs, or dictionary-form verbs, and pair two or more examples of the same kind.
Examples
昼休みは三十分しかないんだから、おにぎりなりパンなり何か買って急いで食べたほうがいい。
ひるやすみはさんじゅっぷんしかないんだから、おにぎりなりパンなりなにかかっていそいでたべたほうがいい。Since the lunch break is only thirty minutes, you should buy something like rice balls or bread and eat it quickly.
お手伝いできることはいたしますよ。私になり小野さんになり声をかけてください。
おてつだいできることはいたしますよ。わたしになりおのさんになりこえをかけてください。We will help with whatever we can. Please speak to either me or Ms. Ono.

このさかな、ぼくがつったんだ。やくなりむすなりしてたべてみてよ。I caught this fish myself. Try eating it grilled or steamed or something like that.
