〜ないではおかない・〜ずにはおかない

Explanation
Used to express that something will not be left undone, or that something will inevitably happen, whether by strong intention or by natural consequence.
Usage
It expresses either the speaker's firm determination to make something happen, or the inevitability that a certain result will naturally occur. When it expresses strong will, the subject is usually first person. When it expresses inevitable effect, the subject is often not first person or may be something inanimate.
Formation
Attach ないではおかない to the nai-form of a verb. Attach ずにはおかない to the zu-form of a verb. With する, use せずにはおかない.
Examples
あの件はやはり偽りだったと、必ず本人の口から認めさせないではおかない。
あのけんはやはりいつわりだったと、かならずほんにんのくちからみとめさせないではおかない。I will make absolutely sure that the person admits with their own mouth that the matter really was a lie.
本部長の言葉から、必ず犯人を突き止めずにはおかないという執念が感じられた。
ほんぶちょうのことばから、かならずはんにんをつきとめずにはおかないというしゅうねんがかんじられた。From the division chief's words, one could sense an obsession that he would not rest until the culprit was identified.
委員長の発言は我々に強い不信感を抱かせずにはおかなかった。
いいんちょうのはつげんはわれわれにつよいふしんかんをいだかせずにはおかなかった。The chairperson's remarks inevitably made us feel strong distrust.
この演奏は聞く者の胸を震わせずにはおかない。
このえんそうはきくもののむねをふるわせずにはおかない。This performance cannot help but stir the hearts of those who hear it.
