近年、多くの企業で在宅勤務やフレックスタイム制が広がっている。
通勤時間が減り、自分の最も集中できる時間帯に合わせて仕事を進められるという利点がある。
しかし、家庭の物音や家族の気配で気が散り、作業が中断されやすい。 このことは、集中を妨げる要因になりうる。
いっぽう、オフィスでは周囲の視線を意識して「働いています」という姿勢を保とうとして、つい長時間机に向かいがちだ。
その一方で、偶然の雑談や立ち話から思いがけないアイデアが生まれることも少なくない。
したがって、働く場所はどちらが優れていると一概に言えず、仕事内容や状況に応じて使い分けるのが望ましい。
