筆者は銭湯でさまざまな世代の裸の身体を観察する。
そこでは少女や老女など異なる年齢層の体が並び、筆者はそれらをじっと見る。
他者の体と自分の体を比べることもあるが、筆者が強く感じるのは比較による劣等感ではない。
むしろ、いろいろな世代の裸を見て、自分が大きな時間の流れの一瞬にすぎないと実感するという感覚である。
