Explanation
Used to list a few actions among others, without giving the exact order. It means 'do things like A and B'.
Usage
Use when giving examples of activities you do, either in the past or present. The tense is shown in the final verb.
Formation
Put each verb into た-form, add り after each, and finish with します (or しました for past).
Examples
休みの日は 本を読んだり、散歩したりします。
やすみのひは ほんをよんだり、さんぽしたりします。On my days off, I read books, take walks, and so on.
週末は 友だちとカフェに行ったり、映画を見たりしました。
しゅうまつは ともだちとカフェにいったり、えいがをみたりしました。Last weekend I went to a café with friends, watched movies, and so on.
