Explanation

Indicates that the speaker (or someone close to the speaker) receives something or has someone do something for them. 'いただきます' is a more polite form, used when the giver is of higher status.

Usage

Used when talking about receiving objects, favors, or services from another person.

Formation

Noun + を + もらいます / いただきます; Verb (て-form) + もらいます / いただきます.
