Expresses the natural ability to see or hear something without intentional effort.

Used when something comes naturally into your sight or hearing, without trying to look or listen actively.

Noun + が見えます / Noun + が聞こえます

ここから山の上にあるお城がよく見えます。

ここからやまのうえにあるおしろがよくみえます。

You can clearly see the castle on top of the mountain from here.

夜になると川の水の音が聞こえます。

よるになるとかわのみずのおとがきこえます。

At night, you can hear the sound of the river's water.
