Explanation
Used to make a proposal or invitation. Can be used for joint activities by the speaker(s) and counterpart(s), or to invite only the listener.
Usage
Used when proposing to do something together or when inviting someone to do something. Polite and often used with people who are not close friends.
Formation
Verb in masu-stem + ませんか
Examples
ひさしぶりにテニスをしませんか。
ひさしぶりにテニスをしませんか。Shall we play tennis? It's been a while.
あした、うちに来ませんか。
あした、うちにきませんか。Why don't you come to my place tomorrow?
