Explanation
Used to express hope or desire for something to happen, where the outcome is not under the speaker's control.
Usage
Often used to talk about desirable situations in the future, such as good weather, success, or meeting someone again.
Formation
Attach といい, ばいい, or たらいい to the verb or adjective form to express a wish.
Examples
明日は天気が良ければいいですね。
あしたはてんきがよければいいですね。I hope the weather will be nice tomorrow.
また近いうちに会えるといいな。
またちかいうちにあえるといいな。It would be nice if we could meet again soon.
