Examples

そのこのえがおは、ふゆのあさひにてらされたはなのようだ。The child’s smile is like a flower lit by the winter morning sun.
試合が始まると、彼はまるで別人であるかのように動き始めた。
しあいがはじまると、かれはまるでべつじんであるかのようにうごきはじめた。When the match began, he moved as if he were a completely different person.
