Expresses a speaker's conjecture or expectation based on someone's typical behavior or personality.

Often used with people, to express a guess about their likely action or state.

Attach to a noun (usually referring to a person).

彼のことだから、きっと最後まで諦めないよ。

かれのことだから、きっとさいごまであきらめないよ。

Knowing him, he won’t give up until the end.

彼女のことだから、きっと時間どおりに来ると思うよ。

かのじょのことだから、きっとじかんどおりにくるとおもうよ。

Since it’s her, I’m sure she’ll be on time.
